The Photographers’ Gallery's long-term objective is to contribute to the development of the aesthetic and expressive scope of photography within the society. The Gallery’s belief is that for photography to remain a vital art form, it needs to be understood as a living communication tool. The art of photography must be constantly challenged, in order to enhance its contemporary relevance.
